My husband and I met in 2006, 3 years before we married and he knew before I did, that we were soul mates. I was in my mid-twenties and in search of myself and wasn't looking to marry. Besides, we were 300 miles apart from one another and I thought he was already taken. This was my mistake!

This wonderful man I only saw once a month at Church when I came “home” to visit my folks. My parents house was still home to me. I would do laundry while I was there to save money.

After three years of struggling with the economy I came “home” and became a “long term guest”, as I referred to it. There was no way I was going to say, I was moving back home. I certainly was not giving up. After all, I had a B.A. and had begun my search in new careers at various schools. I found a stable job and was bound and determined to move out.

My soul mate became a wonderful annoyance in my life and never left my side while at church. We began dating and were engaged within months and married in the next two. Our life was non-stop there after. It began with camping and hiking on a budget and then pregnant with our first child in the fall of the same year.

With the birth began a new phase along with a new program. I am not just a full time mother and house wife I am also a student and now a “Hubber”. I am enrolled in a M.Ed. in literacy and language arts program hoping to teach at a near by community college part time this fall.

I am glad to also be apart of this online growing community.
